Kelly J. Depsee

Kelly J. Depsee serves as Senior Director of Communications and External Relations, where she manages internal and external communications, media relations, newsletters, the digital News Room, and special events, including Women's Entrepreneurship Week activities. Ms. Depsee oversees Berkeley Cares, which encompasses the College's volunteer and giving initiatives for students, faculty, staff and alumni.

Ms. Depsee joined Berkeley College in 2009 and is a graduate of the Leadership Berkeley Class of 2015. She received the 2016 Associate of the Year award for Excellence from Berkeley College, and was named among the Responsible 100 by City & State New York for her work with the Berkeley Cares initiative.

Before joining Berkeley College, Ms. Depsee was an editor for the Asbury Park Press and the Ocean County Observer; a reporter for North Jersey Media Group and The Times of Trenton; and a News Assistant for The Wall Street Journal.

Ms. Depsee holds a Master of Arts in Public and Organizational Relations from Montclair State University; a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism – Professional Writing and a minor in Creative Writing from The College of New Jersey; and a Graphic Design certificate from William Paterson University.
