Laura Altomonte, MBA
Laura Altomonte was named Director of Academic Affairs, Larry L. Luing School of Business® in 2025. She served as Associate Dean since 2020 and previously served as Chair, Online, of the School of Business. She began teaching accounting and general business classes at Berkeley College in 1994.
Professor Altomonte has an MBA in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York. She is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant, which is a professional designation granted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She maintains an accounting practice in New Jersey where she provides business and individual tax preparation services, as well as accounting consulting services.
Professor Altomonte has extensive online and onsite teaching experience . She has taught various accounting, cost accounting, governmental accounting, tax, and auditing classes on both the graduate and undergraduate level.
