Suzeana Stewart
Suzeana Stewart serves as the Campus Operating Officer (COO) for Berkeley College’s New York campus and Director of Student Development and Campus Life. In her dual role, she oversees campus operations, finances, student and staff retention, space management, community outreach, and campus expansion.
With more than a decade of experience in higher education, program development, and community engagement, Stewart leads with a collaborative and student-centered approach. She advances the student experience through impactful Student Development and Campus Life (SDCL) initiatives that promote leadership, innovation, and personal growth. Stewart also manages the Berkeley College Foundation Food Pantries, broadening access to essential resources for students across New York and New Jersey.
A certified Title IX Investigator, Stewart is deeply committed to fostering safe, inclusive, and equitable environments. Her dedication has been recognized through honors such as Associate of the Year for Innovation and the Extra Mile Award. She has also been featured as a speaker at events addressing college hunger, including the 7th Annual Women Fighting Hunger Luncheon.
Beyond Berkeley College, Stewart serves as Assistant Administrator, Youth Leader, and choir member at Bethel Temple of Praise in Yonkers, NY, where she also sits on the church’s board. She extends her mentorship as Chapter Advisor for Phi Theta Kappa Berkeley College NYC and Advisor to the Caribbean Students Association.
Stewart holds a Master of Science in Public Administration (Nonprofit Management concentration) and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness, both from Buffalo State, The State University of New York. Through her leadership in education, nonprofit service, and community advocacy, she embodies a steadfast commitment to equity, empowerment, and cultural celebration.
