Berkeley College invites the public to Only in New York at the 92nd Street Y, 1295 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY, at noon. At this event, Daniel J. Wakin and Stephen Wolf, both authors and professors, will share stories about their most recent books, The Man with the Sawed-Off Leg and Other Tales of a New York City Block (Wakin) and Central Park Love Song: Wandering Beneath the Heaventrees (Wolf). Mr. Wakin has been an editor and reporter at the New York Times since 2000, and Dr. Wolf teaches literature and humanities at Berkeley College. Berkeley College will host Color Wheel at the Ricciardi Brothers showroom, 145 South Street, Morristown, NJ, at 6:15 p.m. At this fun event, representatives from Ricciardi Brothers will present an informational session on the color wheel and colors of the year. Members of the Berkeley College Interior Design department will lend their expertise, and wine and appetizers will be served. The event is free, but seating is limited. Berkeley College will host Berkeley Hackathon – a Business, Data and Artificial Intelligence event from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The event is for high school students, community college students, and data and tech professionals seeking to explore careers in business data science, analytics, programming and artificial intelligence. Participants will get the opportunity to network, collaborate, innovate and shape the future of data and technology. They will be empowered with tools to create innovative solutions in three tracks: data startups, artificial intelligence projects and programming exploration.
