Berkeley College COVID-19 Dashboard
November 12, 2020
Dear Berkeley College Community,
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the new COVID-19 Dashboard on the Berkeley College website: https://berkeleycollege.edu/newsroom/coronavirus/covid-19-dashboard/index.html.
The Berkeley College COVID-19 Dashboard is intended to provide students, faculty, staff, and the communities we serve with information on confirmed COVID-19 cases by campus from September 8, 2020, to present day. The dashboard is updated as reported cases are confirmed.
When a positive case is reported on a specific Berkeley College campus, any individual(s) identified as having close contact with someone infected with COVID-19 will be notified by the local health department and/or trained College personnel in connection with contact tracing efforts. This will be the primary notification protocol for all positive cases moving forward.
What is Close Contact?
Anyone who was within 6 feet of the infected person for a total of 15 minutes or more is considered in close contact. An infected person can spread COVID-19 starting from 48 hours before displaying any symptoms.
Individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 are permitted to return to campus with the proper medical clearance. For guidelines on returning to campus, please visit: https://berkeleycollege.edu/newsroom/coronavirus/not-cleared-to-return-next-steps/index.html.

Please remember to wear your face mask/covering, wash your hands often, and stay home if you are not feeling well.
Stay safe.
Sincerely,
COVID-19 Task Force
