Michael J. Smith, President of Berkeley College, and Marsha A. Pollard, PhD, Provost, will be featured speakers at the virtual City & State Education Summit, taking place on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, from 1 to 4:20 p.m. Berkeley College is a sponsor of the event.
Smith will provide introductory remarks and Pollard will serve as a panelist in a session titled “Higher Education Plans for New York” at 2:35 p.m. The theme of the Summit is “New York’s Current and Future Education in a Post-COVID-19 Era,” and the event will offer attendees insights into remote learning, standardized testing, public school funding and more.
Keynote speakers include Lester W. Young, Jr., EdD, Chancellor, New York State Board of Regents; and Meisha Porter, Chancellor, New York City Department of Education.
