Berkeley College will host a Virtual LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) Webinar at 1 p.m. The course of study is the only of its kind in New Jersey, providing a defined pathway for experienced LPNs to transition to a career as a baccalaureate-prepared Registered Nurse. In honor of Women’s Entrepreneurship Week, Berkeley College will host a special virtual event that includes discussions with prominent leaders in business, government and media. “The Future is Women” is part of a global initiative to elevate the voices of women on key issues. The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Join us and be inspired by women transforming the future!
Panels will explore how the public and private sectors are working together to build a more inclusive and equitable future for New York. Take a look at the status of women’s rights and the organizations and leaders dedicated to helping women overcome the barriers to equality. Meet the women at the forefront of fashion, lifestyle, arts, culture, tourism and entertainment in New York City and around the world.
The audience will be comprised of students, faculty, business leaders and professionals. There is no cost to attend the virtual event, but registration is required.
In celebration of Berkeley College’s 90th anniversary, more than 100 remarkable women who have spoken at Women’s Entrepreneurship Week events over the years will be recognized at an in-person ceremony at 5 p.m. Tickets are limited and sponsorship opportunities are available.
