Message from the COVID-19 Task Force: Winter 2022 Return to Campus
January 27, 2022
Dear Berkeley College Students,
As we approach the end of January, Berkeley’s in-person and hybrid courses will begin holding classes on campus next Monday, January 31, 2022. If you are scheduled to attend class at a Berkeley College campus this semester and have any questions about your course modality (in-person vs. online) beginning next week, please contact your faculty member(s) as soon as possible.
All students traveling to a Berkeley campus, regardless of vaccination status, must complete the daily COVID-19 Health Questionnaire and show the “Cleared to Enter” screen to Public Safety upon your arrival.
If you receive a “Not Cleared to Enter” screen, please stay home, notify your faculty member(s) regarding your coursework, and contact Dr. Sherrille Shabazz, Assistant Vice President of Student Development and Campus Life, at SRH@BerkeleyCollege.edu; Heather Eaton-Dwyer, Dean of Students, at HED@BerkeleyCollege.edu; and COVID19@BerkeleyCollege.edu . If you are feeling unwell, contact your health care provider if necessary.
Paper forms of the COVID-19 Health Questionnaire are no longer available on campus. Please complete the questionnaire on your cell phone (capturing a screenshot) or home computer/device (print the “Cleared to Enter” page).
Additionally, all students must wear a face mask/covering while inside any Berkeley College building, including in all classrooms, computer labs, and libraries.
These protocols are designed to protect you, your classmates, and the entire Berkeley community while on campus. We appreciate your diligence and look forward to seeing you soon.
Stay safe.
Sincerely,
COVID-19 Task Force
