Updates to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Students
July 20, 2022
Dear Students,
We are writing to inform you that the COVID-19 vaccination will not be required for students during the fall semester; however, it may be required in the future pending state or other mandates.
As vaccines and boosters remain the best defense against severe COVID-19, the College continues to recommend that students consider getting vaccinated. Those in high-risk areas are also recommended to wear a mask indoors and on public transportation. Masks remain required in all classrooms and on shuttles for the remainder of the Spring semester and will be optional in classrooms but still required on shuttles for the Fall semester.
The College encourages you to continue to upload your vaccination records using this e-form: COVID-19 Vaccination upload.
The Task Force continues to meet regularly and will continue to monitor conditions and adjust the College’s Operations Plan as needed.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to COVID19@BerkeleyCollege.edu. For the latest information at Berkeley on COVID-19, please visit our COVID-19 webpage.
Sincerely,
The COVID-19 Task Force
