Photo Caption: Berkeley College students pursuing degrees in Justice Studies, Legal Studies, and Business learned how the New Jersey State Police shares intelligence with its public and private partners during a visit to the New Jersey Regional Operations & Intelligence Center (NJ ROIC) in Ewing, NJ, on September 29, 2022. “The trip taught us a lot,” said Angelena Jimenez of Lyndhurst, NJ, President of the Berkeley College Justice League Club who is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies – Criminal Justice. “We learned what fusion centers are and how they work – agencies and local departments come together to protect us.” Jimenez hopes to pursue a career in forensics. The students also visited the New Jersey State Police Museum & Learning Center, which houses vintage uniforms and equipment, as well as evidence from cases such as the Lindbergh kidnapping trial.
