Maria Rosario Behun is Vice President and Community Manager at JP Morgan Chase & Co. in Dover, NJ. In this role, Behun builds and nurtures relationships with community leaders, nonprofit partners, and small businesses through financial health workshops, volunteerism, and community programming. She also works to advance racial equity by supporting Black and Hispanic communities with the tools and resources to help them improve their financial well-being.
Behun has more than two decades of experience in the financial services and business management industries. She previously served in various leadership roles at Valley Bank, and is a Co-Founder of its Hispanic Organization of Leadership and Achievement (HOLA). She also managed the Community Service Chapter of HOLA and served as an Ambassador of the Women in Business Program.
Behun is a member of the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Morris County Hispanic-American Chamber of Commerce, the Latino Chamber of Commerce, the Hispanic State Parade of New Jersey’s Youth Event Planning Committee, and the Butler High School Booster Club. She also serves on the Puerto Rican Association for Human Development, Inc. (PRAHD) Fundraising Committee.
Behun graduated with honors from Berkeley College in 2016, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Administration – Management. She enjoys spending time with family, visiting her homeland of the Dominican Republic, cooking, coaching, and photography. She is a resident of Bloomingdale, NJ.
