Students can gain valuable insight into some of today’s most exciting career fields during Berkeley College’s 2024 Summer Workshops, held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Woodland Park Campus, 44 Rifle Camp Road. Attendees will hear from expert guest speakers and learn about the training and skills needed to begin their educational and career journeys. The event is free, but registration is required.

Business/Management/Marketing
Attendees will gain insight into the many different roles that keep different types of successful companies and organizations running through a hands-on experience with Berkeley College professors. Discuss teamwork, leadership qualities, and the skills employers look for in today’s competitive market.

Healthcare
During interactive presentations and demonstrations provided by professionals and instructors, students will learn about some of the training and skills needed to be successful in different areas of the allied healthcare industry, one of today’s most in-demand careers.

Graphic Design/Interior Design
Attendees will learn about turning a passion for design into an exciting career with hands-on experience from Berkeley College professors. Hear about the broad range of skills taught in the College’s specialized design studios as well as potential careers in the fields of graphic and interior design.

Fashion
From buying to merchandising, this workshop will give attendees an overview of the many careers in the fascinating business of fashion. Learn from industry-trained faculty and guest speakers from leading fashion companies.
Guest Speakers: Jesenia Espinal, Director of Product Development, Victoria’s Secret & Co.; and Jasmine Stewart Brown, Product Development Associate, Walmart.
Justice Studies/Legal Studies/National Security
Investigate careers in the fascinating and in-demand areas of criminal justice, legal studies, and national security. Attendees will gain hands-on experience from Berkeley College professors and get a behind-the-scenes look at what is really involved in these exciting fields.
