Meet our Alumni Board:
Roshauna Bostwick '20, President
Roshauna Bostwick, a proud member of Berkeley College’s Class of 2020, exemplifies resilience, leadership, and a commitment to community empowerment. A resident of Queens, NY, Roshauna’s journey at Berkeley began in 2018 when a pivotal phone call from the College transformed her path as a two-time transfer student.
While at Berkeley, Roshauna excelled academically and embraced leadership roles. She founded the Women’s Empowerment Club, serving as its president and organizing impactful events like the "Women on a Mission" summit. Her dedication earned her induction into the National Society of Leadership and Success and the nickname “Berkeley Legend” among her peers.
Today, Roshauna is a Contract Specialist with the New York City Housing Authority, where she manages vendor and contract finances. She is also the founder of Blast Off Mission, a nonprofit organization dedicated to literacy advocacy and outreach for underprivileged children, and Ro Hair Essentials, a natural haircare product line established in 2020. Additionally, she volunteers through her church, serving the homeless weekly through a food pantry.
As President of the Berkeley College Alumni Board, Roshauna is committed to fostering collaboration, mentorship, and community among alumni. She strives to inspire graduates to share their stories, support one another, and uphold the legacy of Berkeley College.
Lillian Padilla '10, Vice President
Lillian Padilla, a proud 2010 graduate of Berkeley College, is dedicated to fostering alumni engagement and empowering the next generation of leaders. With diverse professional experience spanning business operations, diplomacy, banking, DEI, fintech, wealth management, and philanthropy, Lillian brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as Vice President of the Berkeley College Alumni Board.
Lillian has cultivated a versatile skill set tailored to supporting executive leadership and driving organizational efficiency. She has held leadership roles with organizations such as the Bronx YMCA and CODEX: Committee of the Dominicans of the Exterior, where she served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer.
Her commitment to community service and professional excellence is reflected in her vision for the Alumni Board. Lillian seeks to strengthen connections within the alumni network, foster meaningful relationships, and support initiatives that align with Berkeley College’s mission.
As Vice President, Lillian is dedicated to creating opportunities for alumni to engage, collaborate, and contribute to the College’s growth and success, ensuring a vibrant and supportive community for future generations.
Jennifer Nunez '11, Secretary
Jennifer Nunez, a proud member of Berkeley College’s Class of 2011, brings a diverse background in business, media, and entrepreneurship to her role as Secretary of the Berkeley College Alumni Board. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City, Jennifer holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Berkeley College and a Master's degree in Media Communications from the New York Institute of Technology.
Jennifer’s career spans financial services, media broadcasting, and entrepreneurial ventures. She worked at Citibank before transitioning into media, collaborating with notable organizations such as WSKQ La Mega 97.9 FM, SiriusXM, and the NBA. Currently, she works in commercial operations at TV One Network, combining her expertise in broadcasting with a passion for storytelling.
In 2020, Jennifer founded Light Maintenance Candle Co., offering soy-based candles inspired by her family’s heritage in candle-making. She also established The Entrepreneurs Forum for Women, a community that empowers women entrepreneurs. Jennifer is the co-host of the mindfulness podcast Presente, a platform focused on positivity and personal growth.
As a first-time board member, Jennifer is eager to apply her organizational and communication skills to support the Alumni Association. She looks forward to collaborating with her fellow board members to strengthen the Berkeley College alumni network and make a meaningful impact within the community.
Henry Garcia '20, Treasurer
Henry Garcia, a proud member of Berkeley College’s Class of 2020, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and brings his expertise in quality control and financial management to his role as Treasurer of the Berkeley College Alumni Board.
Henry is currently part of the Quality Control department at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Fair Lawn, NJ, where he oversees testing schedules, manages purchase orders, and ensures accuracy in invoice reviews to maintain compliance and efficiency.
As a student at Berkeley College, Henry benefited from the support, activities, and resources that contributed to his academic and personal success. Now, as Treasurer, he is dedicated to giving back by ensuring transparent and accurate financial reporting, supporting board initiatives, and contributing to programs that benefit the Berkeley community. Henry is committed to fostering a collaborative and impactful alumni network that continues to thrive.
Elijah Johnson '13, Historian
Elijah Johnson, a proud 2014 graduate of Berkeley College, is a dynamic leader with a passion for creative entrepreneurship and empowering youth. As the Executive Director of The Too Alive Tour, a nonprofit organization, Elijah develops career-focused and social-emotional learning programs that inspire high school and college students to thrive personally and professionally.
In addition to his nonprofit work, Elijah is the CEO of TkACTN Media, a full-service entertainment company specializing in record label management, podcast and content production, and event curation. With an extensive background in the music industry, he is also an active rapper and songwriter, performing under the name ShotofADRENALIN.
As Alumni Board Historian, Elijah is committed to preserving the rich history and achievements of the Berkeley College alumni community. He views storytelling as a powerful tool for fostering connections, celebrating successes, and inspiring future generations of graduates. Elijah looks forward to collaborating with his fellow board members to strengthen the alumni network and amplify its impact.
