Berkeley College will host Immediate Decision Days from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. for high school seniors and adult students. Guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet staff and faculty, and learn about degree programs, as well as financial aid and scholarship opportunities. Bring your high school transcript, college transcript or GED and get an immediate decision on admission. Transfer students will learn about transfer opportunities. Interior Design Workshop: Experience hands-on design projects and field trips to design showrooms. Interior design professionals will discuss fundamentals and a range of career opportunities. Berkeley College will host a dinner meeting of the Paralegal Association of New Jersey, Inc., open to members and non-members. Patricia Greer, Chair, Legal Studies, Berkeley College School of Professional Studies, will discuss “Minimizing Risk by Drafting a Concise Contract.” The cost is $15 (members), $18 (non-members) and $15 (current Berkeley College students). This is a chance to network with professionals in the legal field who are committed to the promotion and recognition of paralegals. Berkeley College will present “Data for Good Tableau Viz Showcase,” a discussion leveraging data for social impact, as part of New York City’s Open Data Week. The week-long observance celebrates New York City’s Open Data Law and raises awareness of the City’s free data resource. The Berkeley College event will be held at 12:30 p.m. Faraz Ahmed, Data Scientist, NYC Mayor's Office of Data Analytics, will give opening remarks.
