BERKELEY COLLEGE STUDENTS AND ALUMNI DISCUSS VARIED LEGAL CAREER PATHS WITH PANEL OF ATTORNEYS AND A FORMER JUDGE

Photo Caption: Practicing attorneys and a former judge took center stage at Berkeley College to inform students about their real-life experiences – the ups and downs, what they can expect, challenges and rewards – in the career paths they have chosen, at a forum held at the Midtown Manhattan campus on February 28, 2019. The panelistspresented legal career options and professional development strategies and tips for emerging legal professionals. “The goal is to engage students – allow them to explore various legal fields, gain firsthand experience from real practitioners, practical advice and information about the legal education experience and process,” said Pearline Guillaume, Professor, Berkeley College School of Professional Studies. The event also offered networking opportunities by allowing attendees to collectively explore topics and connect with legal professionals.
