Students from Rockaway in Queens, NY, have been named to the President’s and Dean’s Lists at Berkeley College for the spring 2019 semester. “I am proud of our students and their academic accomplishments,” said Michael J. Smith, President of Berkeley College. “Their work ethic and talent will serve them well as they prepare to graduate and progress toward their future successes.” The following students from Rockaway have been recognized: President’s List - Lisbed Flores of Far Rockaway Dean’s List - Patricia D. Barker of Far Rockaway - Sierra Barnes of Far Rockaway - Shaqueena Biggs of Arverne - Tsering Dickey of Woodside - Deebika Iyer of Woodhaven - Vivianne Londono of Howard Beach - Emmanuel Lopez of Woodhaven - Billy Perez of Rockaway Park - Jenny Proano of Woodhaven - Rahul Rai of Woodside - Shu Yabushita of Woodside Berkeley College students who achieve a grade point average of 4.00 with a minimum of 12 academic credits qualify for the President’s List. Students who achieve a grade point average of 3.50 or better with a minimum of 12 academic credits qualify for the Dean’s List.
