Jodie M. Grenier is the Chief Executive Officer of Foundation for Women Warriors (FFWW), a nearly 100-year-old nonprofit that honors and empowers women veterans in their transition to civilian life. Ms. Grenier joined Foundation for Women Warriors in 2016, and in her short tenure rebranded the organization, doubled revenue, and expanded and revitalized FFWW’s programs, maximizing impact to women veterans’ fiscal and family stability. 

Named one of the world’s 130 Women of Impact by Impact Mania in 2017 and awarded San Diego Business Journal’s Businesswomen of the Year Award in 2018, Ms. Grenier has led a nationwide campaign inspiring the country to reconsider gender roles, veteran stereotypes and the capabilities of women. As a leading voice on women’s and veterans’ issues, Ms. Grenier testified before the House Committee on Veteran’s Affairs on the various issues impacting the economic well-being of women veterans in 2019. 

Prior to joining FFWW, Ms. Grenier was an Intelligence Advisor for the Marine Corps Battle Simulation Center in Camp Pendleton, CA, where she provided unit commanders, Marines and Sailors intelligence collection training in preparation for deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. She also held various roles in Force Protection and as a Security Analyst in Al Kut, Iraq, and Kabul, Afghanistan. 

Ms. Grenier began her career in Intelligence and National Security in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving with 1st Marine Division, G-2 military intelligence. She deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom I and II as an Intelligence Collections Analyst and Watch Chief, where she provided unit commanders with real-time actionable intelligence mitigating threats to troops. 

Ms. Grenier was honored with the Navy Commendation, Navy Achievement, Global War on Terrorism Service, and Iraq Campaign Medals. In 2005, she was honorably discharged from active service and promoted to Staff Sergeant in 2006 in the Reserves. 

Ms. Grenier was a founding member, Director of Development, and Vice President of the Marine Reconnaissance Foundation, where she led fundraising and event planning, co-led the athletic ambassador program and established a transition program to assist the reconnaissance community and their families. 

She currently serves on the California Women Veterans Leadership Council, is a member of the Carlsbad Women’s Club, Veteran of Foreign Wars, Women Marine’s Association, 100 Women Who Care Orange County, and Women Give San Diego. Ms. Grenier holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master’s in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of San Diego. She resides in Carlsbad, California.
