Marching from 26th Street, down Madison Avenue and up Fifth Avenue past the red carpet set out for the 100th anniversary ceremony of the parade, excitement was abundant as cheers and applause from supporters lining the sidewalks filled the air. Bands played and Berkeley College students and staff greeted bystanders with American flags. Berkeley College has students who are serving or who have served in the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps.
