Depsee, Berkeley College Director, Communications & External Relations (center, in green dress) in the Education category at The Responsible 100 event held on December 18, 2019 at Sony Hall in New York City. The event shines a light on socially reliable leaders in 10 sectors who set new standards of excellence, dedication and leadership in improving their communities and making transformative change in corporate social responsibility matters. “My proudest achievement is expanding the Berkeley Cares initiative beyond a single day of service to a year-round culture of volunteerism that inspires student, alumni, staff and faculty volunteers in two states and online to give back,” Ms. Depsee said. “So many nonprofits and community organizations have come to rely on our volunteers to plant gardens, serve meals or paint their facilities. Berkeley also honors veterans by placing American flags at the graves of hundreds of fallen service members every Memorial Day.” Ms. Depsee serves as Co-Chair of the BerkeleyCares Committee. She resides in Cedar Grove, NJ. Share the News: @CityAndStateNY #BerkeleyCares
