 “BEYOND BLACK HISTORY MONTH: UPLIFTING BLACK VOICES”

Beyond Black History Month: Uplifting Black Voices,” a virtual forum sponsored by the Berkeley College Student Development and Campus Life team and the Berkeley College Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Task Force on February 23 from 3 to 4:30 p.m., will feature Berkeley College speakers who will discuss how to build awareness and navigate inequities and misconceptions, both personally and professionally.
Kimberly Malone, Dean, Academic Advisement, Berkeley College, will moderate the event. Berkeley College panelists include Iessa J. Mitchell-Sutton, Campus Operating Officer; Traci Dingle, JD, Professor, Justice Studies, School of Professional Studies; Sherrille Shabazz, EdD, Associate Dean, Student Development and Campus Life; Romel Roachford, Director, Center for Academic Success; and Byron K. Hargrove, PhD, Professor, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Director, Honors Program. Yanique Francis, Partnership Director, Upbeat, is also a panelist.
