WHAT: In recognition of its 90th anniversary, Berkeley College will host cherry tree planting ceremonies in the municipalities where its New Jersey campuses are located: Newark, Paramus, Woodbridge and Woodland Park. The events, which will take place on September 28 and 29, 2021, coincide with a proclamation issued by Phil Murphy, Governor of New Jersey, declaring September 28 as Berkeley College Day. Berkeley was founded in East Orange, NJ, on September 28, 1931, and today serves a diverse student body of more than 4,900 across four New Jersey campuses, a campus in Midtown Manhattan, NY, and Berkeley College Online®, which enrolls a global student population.
