“A decade ago, when City & State first published an Above & Beyond list of ‘25 incredible women,’ New York had never had a female governor, a female attorney general, or a female leader of a majority conference in the state Legislature,” said City & State in an article announcing the list. “Since then, the gender divide has become less out of balance. Gov. Kathy Hochul, state Attorney General Letitia James, and state Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins are among the most powerful politicians in the state.”

As Vice President of Career Services at Berkeley College and a highly ranked influencer in the LinkedIn Social Selling Index, Soricelli utilizes her extensive network of 27,000+ connections for the benefit of those seeking internships and employment. Her graduates are employed with companies including Amazon, Anna Wintour, the NYC Department of Education, and NYC Health and Hospitals.

Soricelli presents workshops on resume-writing and building an effective online profile to high school and college students throughout New York. She also helps applicants build interview confidence through her work with Bottomless Closet and Dress for Success.

“Not a day goes by where I don’t feel good about what I do,” Soricelli said. “When I see an update on LinkedIn – a new job or promotion for one of my students or graduates – it fills me with satisfaction. Having a small hand in someone’s success means the world to me.”
