Join Berkeley College on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 1 p.m. to learn about The Innocence Project through the story of Greg Mingo. Mingo was wrongfully accused and incarcerated for 40 years, before his sentence was commuted and he returned home in September 2021. 

“I have been working diligently to gain my freedom over the years, trying different things and getting the same results,” Mingo said. “It’s my hope that with the support of everyone involved, advocating on my behalf for clemency, I will get to leave here alive and not in a casket.” 

ABOUT THE INNOCENCE PROJECT

The Innocence Project works to free the innocent, prevent wrongful convictions, and create fair, compassionate, and  equitable systems of justice for everyone.
