The New York City Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (NYCHCC) recently awarded a scholarship to Delia Espinal of the Bronx, NY, during the 19th Annual Hispanic Business Banquet and Scholarship Award Reception. Espinal is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Human Resources Management at Berkeley College.

According to the NYCHCC, the annual banquet and scholarship reception recognizes leaders who uphold the integrity of the Hispanic community through economic development, education, and advocacy. The evening is also dedicated to inspiring and empowering the next generation of Hispanic leaders to achieve their dreams.

“The recognition of hard work and dedication through this scholarship not only validates my efforts but also motivates me to persevere even further in achieving my academic and career objectives,” said Espinal, who is currently employed in the pension sector.

Espinal said she is motivated by the belief that an MBA will provide her with greater opportunities for career advancement in the Human Resources field, for which she is passionate.

“I am committed to using my education to pave the way for future generations in my family and community, demonstrating that with determination and support, it is possible to overcome obstacles and succeed,” Espinal said.
