Berkeley College student Monserrat “Monse” Miranda of Englewood, NJ, was among 232 students named to the 2025 ALL IN Student Voting Honor Roll, recognizing college students nationwide who do outstanding work to advance nonpartisan democratic engagement on campus. This is the fourth consecutive year a Berkeley College student has been recognized.

“Whether they hosted nonpartisan voter registration drives or early voting celebrations, the students honored today made sure their peers did not sleep in on Election Day,” said Jen Domagal-Goldman, Executive Director, ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge. “With 100,000 local elections happening across the country in 2025, ALL IN students continue to ensure that everyone on their campuses has the information they need to cast their ballot. The 232 Student Voting Honor Roll honorees lead by example, making nonpartisan voter participation a lifelong habit for themselves and their peers.”

The ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge engages more than 1,000 institutions enrolling over 10 million students in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Miranda, who is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Fashion Merchandising and Management, was honored not only by the Berkeley College nomination but by the recognition she received from ALL IN. “Hearing that I was not only nominated but was also chosen makes me really proud, and it serves as a reminder that I love what I do,” Miranda said. “My work engaging students with the ALL IN Democracy Challenge is important to me and the people around me, and it genuinely brings me happiness.”

Miranda has been an engaged student at Berkeley College since her first semester and serves as President of the Fashion Revolution Club and Vice President of the Student Government Association. Throughout the fall 2024 semester, Miranda was the team leader for the New Jersey Ballot Bowl for campus voter registration. She co-hosted tabling events, created grab-and-go bags with New Jersey voter polling and ALL IN To Vote information, and attended the ALL IN to Vote New Jersey Votes Campus Summit at Princeton University.

Miranda plans to complete her Bachelor’s degree at Berkeley College and has secured a Digital Content and Fashion Archiving internship at WindowsWear, a creative resource for brands and retailers, for summer 2025.
