Annetta Ramtahal, Campus Operating Officer, Berkeley College Online®, has been named to City and State New York’s 2026 Trailblazer in Higher Education list, featuring leaders who reshape academics and advocacy for students and enable them to access critical opportunities. Ramtahal joined Berkeley College in 2015 was appointed Campus Operating Officer of Berkeley College Online in 2021.

Ramtahal, who is also a Berkeley College alumna, “has collaborated with her colleagues to develop a cross-college initiative to proactively identify academic, financial and personal barriers to degree completion and develop effective solutions,” City & State said in an article announcing the list.

Ramtahal came to Berkeley College in 2015 as a Marketing Assistant. Within a few months she transferred to Campus Operations, quickly becoming knowledgeable in all functional departments within the College to better serve Berkeley College students. She is a steadfast believer in the College’s “Students Come First” philosophy.

Recognizing that many online learners struggle not with ability but with navigation and confidence, Ramtahal spearheaded a “Be Ready” course to ensure students begin their journey empowered. Her “Career Boot Camp” seminar for upcoming graduates, launched in conjunction with the Career Services Department, further bridges the gap between academic achievement and professional confidence, and now incorporates AI and emotional intelligence.
