MBA grad shares her joy and pride with her son
“I’m graduating too!” exclaimed Jayanna Brown-Goode’s five-year-old son James, who beamed with pride for his mother. Wiping away tears, she explained her joy at earning her MBA in Management from Berkeley College—something she had dreamed of for years.
Exceptional flexibility, insightful perspectives
Jayanna also spoke of the flexibility of the Berkeley College MBA program, “As a wife and mother who’s also working full-time, having the ability to complete my coursework around my schedule was critical. Having the perspectives of classmates’ different points of view was very beneficial. Professors were also very responsive.”
Advancing her career through Human Resources Management
Choosing a Concentration in Human Resources Management in her MBA in Management program, Jayanna added, “I benefited greatly from my professors’ experience and expertise as professionals who shared their real-life scenarios and situations in class, which I am now able to apply to my career as an HR specialist.”
This is just the beginning
“The way I view the perspectives of others has changed,” she went on. “The MBA program has given me a bigger picture of how organizations work and it has helped me grow. I’m very proud of my accomplishments, and I know that this is just the beginning. From here, the sky is the limit!”
And young James definitely agrees.
