Students in the Berkeley College Applied Media and Marketing degree learned about broadcast production in the studios of one of the nation’s leading media firms and participated in other experiential learning events for hands-on, real-world career preparation. Randy Gómez, born in San Pedro de Macoris in the Dominican Republic, received a Power Women of Long Island Award on November 13, 2024. An integral part of the Berkeley College community for nearly 20 years, Gómez’s career at Berkeley College began as an Admissions Associate, and she has climbed the College ladder to become the New York Director of Corporate and Community Relations for Corporate Learning Partnerships.
