Brian Maher was named Vice President in January 2019. He currently oversees the Academic Advisement and Registrar departments, where his focus is on ensuring students receive the support and customer service they deserve to achieve their academic and professional goals.
Mr. Maher has previously served in Financial Aid, Institutional Effectiveness, Career Services, Athletics, Student Development and Campus Life, and Alumni Relations.
Prior to joining Berkeley College, Mr. Maher served as the Marketing Coordinator for Bogen Communications, Inc. and as a Sales Representative at the New York Daily News, LP.
Mr. Maher received Berkeley College Associate of the Year awards in 2010 and 2006 and honorable mentions in 2009 and 2005. In 2015 and 2018, he led departments that have been recognized for Associate of the Year Awards for Teamwork.
Mr. Maher currently serves on the Recruitment Committee for LeadNJ and is an Honorary Civilian Commander at Joint Base McGuire/Dix/Lakehurst. He has previously served as President of the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and has served on the Education Committee for the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Maher holds a BA in History from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY.
