BERKELEY COLLEGE TRANSITIONS ALL COURSES ONLINE
BEGINNING MONDAY, MARCH 16 - CAMPUSES IN NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY REMAIN OPEN FOR STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES

All Berkeley College on-site classes in New York and New Jersey moved online as of March 17, 2020.  Campuses remained open for students to utilize on-site support services such as the Library, Career Services, and the Center for Academic Success and computer labs, through Saturday, March 21, 2020, when they were closed due to statewide directives.

“In these unprecedented circumstances, we are striving to maintain a continuity of instruction for our students with as little disruption as possible,” said Michael J. Smith, President of Berkeley College. “With every decision that is made, the safety of our students, faculty and staff is the most important consideration.”

Berkeley College is also encouraging its residence students in White Plains to leave the campus for the remainder of the semester and continue their coursework online. White Plains is the only campus in the Berkeley College system with student housing. Berkeley College Campus Operations and Student Development and Campus Life teams are on hand to assist students through the move.

Since the onset of the crisis, Berkeley College has been sanitizing and extensively cleaning its facilities on an ongoing basis to minimize any risks to the Berkeley community. A special coronavirus COVID-19 emergency management task force has been working on all aspects of college preparedness, including policies, procedures and support systems to minimize risks to the Berkeley College community and to ensure the seamless delivery of teaching and learning to students.
