Berkeley College has named Linda Mauro Campus Operating Officer of its Midtown Manhattan campus, located at 12 East 41st Street and 3 East 43rd Street in New York City. As Campus Operating Officer, Mauro oversees day-to-day operations, finances, student and staff retention, space management and community outreach.
“What excites me the most is seeing our students graduate,” Mauro said. “My students motivate me, and I learn from them. I believe in the Berkeley mission and values and work toward upholding it regularly.”
Mauro joined Berkeley College in 2001 as Director of Adult Admissions at the Midtown Manhattan campus, and held various leadership roles in both New York and New Jersey. She serves on the Advisory Board Council for Dress for Success, Northern New Jersey, and served on the Board of Directors for the North Jersey Chamber of Commerce from 2011 to 2021. Mauro was recognized as Woman of the Year in 2020 by the Borough of Woodland Park, NJ, and was named among the YWCA Academy of Women Leaders in 2015.
Mauro holds a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Advertising and Communications from SUNY Oneonta and the Fashion Institute of Technology, and an Executive Leadership Certification from Cornell University. She is a resident of Wayne, NJ.
