Cigna Healthcare has selected Berkeley College as a recipient of its 2024 Gold-Level Healthy Workforce Designation™ for demonstrating a strong commitment to improving the health and vitality of its employees through a workplace well-being program. This is the sixth consecutive year Berkeley College has earned workplace recognition from Cigna Healthcare. 

According to Cigna Healthcare, workforce vitality is an essential catalyst for business and community growth, associated with better employee health and higher levels of job satisfaction and productivity.

The Cigna Healthy Workforce Designation evaluates organizations based on the core components of their well-being programs, including leadership and culture, program foundations and execution, policies and accommodations, and additional areas. Berkeley College seeks to increase employee health and engagement through initiatives such as annual biometric screenings, Lunch and Learn activities, and Wellness Fairs.
