For the fifth consecutive year, U.S. News & World Reporthas ranked Berkeley College among the Best Online Bachelor’s Programs for Veterans.

Recognized as a leading source for college rankings, U.S. News & World Report rates schools on factors such as student engagement; faculty credentials and training; and student services and technology. More than 440 military students and veterans are currently enrolled at Berkeley and over 170 graduated from the College last year.

“Berkeley has a longstanding commitment to veterans and their families,” said Ed Dennis, Assistant Vice President, Office of Military and Veteran Affairs at Berkeley College. “From specially trained counselors and advisors to on-site and online Veterans Resource Centers, we provide a great deal of support to help our veterans prepare for post-military success.”

Yusef Brown, a Legal Studies major who served in the U.S. Army, agrees, “Berkeley made my transition from military to college life extremely smooth. Having so many other veterans here has been a big help.”

Berkeley College has received numerous awards and recognitions for Military/Veteran programs, including: Top 10 Military Friendly College by GI Jobs Magazine for 2017; Best for Vets College by Military Times 2013, 2014, and 2017; Military Friendly College by GI Jobs Magazine 2010-2014, 2016, and 2017; Military Friendly College by Military Advanced Education Magazine 2010-2015 and 2017.

Berkeley is also a proud supporter of the GI Bill® and Yellow Ribbon Program. Our Veterans Affairs associates are trained in GI Bill® regulations and financial aid matters. Advisors with military experience are available to assist with applications, enrollment, credit for prior learning, and tutoring, as well as information about a wide range of veterans’ benefits and issues.
